Global Film Festival

Curiosity is the wick in the candle of learning. As learning is a never ending process so Mount Litera Zee School Ludhiana had been a part of ISA project and the recent activity which was undertaken by School was MLZS Global Film Festival in which students of class I-VIII participated vivaciously. Disparate film and dialogue were assigned to different classes and the students enacted according to their respective characters. In addition, students along with their class teachers embellished their classroom according to the International film set. Further, more parents were also invited to witness the culmination of International School Award Activity. Parents felt astounded to see the way students were performing. Last but not least it was an outstanding and prosperous event.

EUREKA MOMENTS, COMPARATIVE STUDY OF INDIA, JAPAN & CHINA

This activity was organised to make students familiar with greatest inventions and discoveries of INDIA, JAPAN & CHINA.
This activity aimed at students enrichment, their knowledge through comparative study of greatest inventions and discoveries of INDIA, JAPAN & CHINA.
Students of Grade V-VII were involved and at this stage it was hard to move at geographical boundaries for exploration of inventions and discoveries following their comparisons.
Mount Literan did it with ease. They evaluated and did comparison of inventions and discoveries of INDIA, JAPAN & CHINA.
MOUNT LITERAN, YOUNG BRAINERS of digital world used different sources such as Internet and Library to accomplish this fascinating task.
Throughout the activity, from aim to accomplishing the task, students enriched their knowledge and developed the skills of reading & Digital literacy. Further, Group Discussions were held and Power Point Presentations were made. Accomplishment was not the "DESTINATION", the INVENTIONS, DISCOVERIES, and the COMPARISONS were broaden among the MOUNT LITERANS in the MORNING ASSEMBLY. It was actually a moment when students enhanced their knowledge and also made others aware of great discoveries and inventions.

UN PANORAMA

Students of classes I-VII represented 7 major UN states (USA, India, Australia, Germany, Japan, China, Russia). Students represented above mentioned 7 UN states and gathered the information regarding the states from magazines, newspapers, yearbook, encyclopedias and internet during their Library and IT period. Students also took guidance from the "LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS" project based on all the UN states in our school. A class was assigned to showcase each UN state. Parents were invited to school where they experienced the procedure of travelling overseas by following all the steps from grant of VISA on their Passport to all the formalities at the Airport and then they enjoyed their journey to different UN states.

ZEN MEDITATION

ZEN is a journey towards enlightenment; a journey of spirit.

Living ZEN is the understanding that i can experience emotion, feeling or adversity- without letting it consume me.

Students of class I-IV learnt and practiced ZEN meditation under the guidance of ISA

Co-ordinator Ms. Ramandeep during their Yoga period that is allotted to students in their time-table.

After taking the shower of positive vibes under the guidance of Dr.Seema, students of grade V-VII shouldered the responsibility to make their parents feel same out of their hustle bustle life.

Students generously, engaged their parents in Raj Yoga in the school premises at Mount Litera Zee School.
